Eagle Scout Project

Hello Everyone,

This is Jordan Brinkman from the Boise first ward and I'm doing an Eagle Project benefiting Boise refugees through the Agency for New Americans organization downtown.  You may have noticed that in the Columbia Village, Bergeson, and Warm Spring's foyers that there are donation boxes...those are mine.
 
Donations can be dropped off anytime at the boxes in each foyer until February 11.

A complete donations list can be found on the sides of the boxes and on flyers in the foyers but the main things needed are:
-new pots and pans 
-twin sized sheets
-cooking utensils (new or lightly used and clean)
-new bagless vacuums

Exchange Students

Jovanna is a 15 year old girl from Mexico. She says,  “Hello!! My name is Jovanna, I’m 15 years old. I'm cheerful, patient, sociable and very funny. I live with my two parents and I have a younger sister and a older brother. I practice Muay Thai but I also was in my state gymnastic team and the national dance team. I love camping, visit the beach, go out with my friends and go to the movies because is one of my favorite places. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, specialy on holidays as Christmas and New Year. I have a clear understanding that it is important to be helpful in the home. At school, I do community service. It consist in visiting a low income community and play with the kids and read them stories. For Christmas we give them toys and sing Christmas carols.
